This nine-day fly-in safari starts with a flight from Windhoek in a southwesterly direction to the Sossusvlei area. Climb on top of the highest sand dunes in the world and enjoy the unique view of the vast spaces and the dunes from the aircraft. Along the coast, this memorable tour leads you to Swakopmund, a town hedged by the Namib Desert and the Atlantic Ocean. Choose between an adventurous Living Desert Tour in search of Namibias “Small Five” and a Catamaran Cruise in Walvis Bay to encounter dolphins, seals and various other marine wildlife, before you depart to the world-renowned rock engravings at Twyfelfontein and embark on a drive in search of the impressive desert adapted elephants which live in this area. This safari ends not less exciting than it has begun – you spend two nights at the private Ongava Game Reserve at the southern boundary of the famous Etosha National Park and explore the abundant wildlife within the National Park and the Game Reserve on game drives. Watch oryx, kudus, zebras and with a little luck, elephants, lions and rhinos at the numerous waterholes, before the safari ends back in Windhoek.

Travel from Hosea Kutako International Airport, where you will embark on a light-aircraft transfer, to Sossusvlei, home to some of the world’s highest sand dunes. On arrival at the airstrip you will be met by one of your local guides, who will transfer you to Little Kulala. Nestled deep in the heart of Namibia's ancient Namib Desert, the lodge is a secluded and serene oasis that overlooks awe-inspiring dunes and stony outcrops. A world of vast spaces, endless horizons and rugged mountain heights, the utter tranquillity and extraordinary clarity of light make this area one of Africa’s most compelling landscapes. Sundowner drive in the afternoon. On Day 2 embark on a guided excursion of Sossusvlei. Two overnights stays at Little Kulala – Fullboard, scheduled activities & local beverages.

Today\’s flight will give you an aerial view of the majestic dunes surrounding Sossusvlei. Proceed along the coast (subject to weather conditions) over Conception Bay, Sandwich Harbour and its famous lagoon to Swakopmund. This quaint desert town with its old-world charm and relaxed atmosphere hedged by desert and sea, is enhanced by lush green lawns and palm trees. Morning arrival in Swakopmund. This afternoon partake in a Living Desert Tour. Overnight at Strand Hotel in Swakopmund or similar - Bed & breakfast.

This morning you can spend at your leisure. At midday we board our small aircraft for our charter to Twyfelfontein. After check-in at the camp we enjoy an afternoon excursion to Twyfelfontein. The following day we embark on a morning drive in search of the Desert Elephants. Overnight stay at Camp Kipwe or similar – Fullboard & scheduled activities

After breakfast transfer to the airfield for your flight to a private game reserve bordering the Etosha National Park. Upon landing at Ongava’s private airstrip your rangers already await you and will transfer you to Ongava Lodge. Ongava Lodge is situated along the southern boundary of Etosha National Park in the privately owned Ongava Game Reserve. Ongava is the ideal place from which to base your activities when visiting Etosha. The following morning we embark on a morning game drive in the Etosha National Park. After a light lunch and a siesta back at the lodge we explore the Ongava Reserve on an afternoon game drive. Two overnight stays at Ongava Lodge or similar – Fullboard incl local drinks and scheduled activities.

After a last morning activity & breakfast the scheduled flight takes you to the Okonjima Nature Reserve, which is the home of the AfriCat Foundation, a non-profit organisation dedicated to the conservation and protection of Namibian wild cats, in particular leopard and cheetah. Enjoy the opportunity to admire and photograph these predators. Overnight stay at Okonjima Bush Camp – Fullboard, scheduled activities & local beverages

Today we fly back to Windhoek in time for check-in on your outbound flight. Take care of all formalities and bid farewell to Namibia!

  • Travelling costs as per itinerary, game drives, activities, entrance- and park fees;
  • All accommodation as specified on a sharing basis;
  • Meals and drinks as specified;
  • Activities, excursions and road transfers as specified;
  • Charter flights as specified;
  • Accommodation taxes, the applicable Tourism Levies and all relevant VAT;

  • Expenses of a personal nature, i.e. laundry, telephone expenses, gratuities, porterage fees, etc;
  • Any additional meals;
  • Any additional activities;
  • Any scheduled flights and related taxes;
  • Visa fees where relevant. Visa payments are required in U$ Dollar cash. Traveller's cheques and credit cards are not accepted for this purpose;
  • Cancellation-, baggage-, medical- and evacuation insurance;
  • Any new Government taxes, levies, etc which are beyond our control;

  • Depending on travel date, low season prices might be available - enquire when making your booking
  • Luggage allowance is strictly 15 kg per person including hand luggage and camera equipment and it must be packed in a soft bag. If these limits above are exceeded, the excess luggage can be held (or forwarded to the point of exit) for your flight out at the end of the safari. Kindly note that the additional cost incurred will be for your account. Please advise us before you travel if you are likely to have excess luggage, and we will make the necessary arrangements;
  • It is compulsory for all guests to have comprehensive cancellation-, default-, baggage-, emergency evacuation- and medical insurance for the duration of the trip;
